In the life of a candidate, things don't always turn
out as planned.
On Sunday, September 9,the idea had been to work-in two events on Potrero Hill - the Ripley Street Block party at
the top (the VERY top) of the hill and the arts and crafts market on Wisconsin Street at the bottom. What a beautiful late
summer day to do this! BUT when the Clark crew arrived on Ripley Street they found they were about an hour early and so made
a high-speed, Bullitt-like, dash downhill to Wisconsin Street.
Wisconsin
was filled with surpisingly high-end art work for sale by a decidedly youthful group of serious vendors. Almost all of the
contact here was with the vendors. Jason quickly set-up a plan to "work" the one-block long market following a clockwise
route that would take him to every stall.
